Choose Your Poison

Queen or Leah McLaren? Tonight, McLaren will be sharing the stage at the Gladstone with Katrina Onstad. Canada AM's Seamus O'Regan might want to wear a black and white ref's jersey just in case a fight breaks out between the two of them, seeing how Onstad makes not so veiled insults at McLaren in her new book.

That being said bashing McLaren and Rebecca Eckler is a popular media past-time more popular than drinking at work. Torontoist is also tired of referring to both of them separately and proposes that their names be merged (Leah McEckler? Rebecca Ecklaren?).

Your other choice for off-kilter, slightly painful entertainment this week is the Indiepolitik fundraiser Just Bohemian Rhapsody going on at the Boat on Thursday Feb. 2nd. Eight DJs will have the easiest gig of their lives and play Queen's epic karaoke favourite for six hours all in a good cause. All money raised at the event will go to the AIDS committee of Toronto.
