How illegitimate are tonight's Casby awards? Well, maybe illegitimate is the wrong word. Can we use "bogus" instead? The equivalent of the Teen Choice Awards makes an attempt at a throw down tonight at the Kool Haus with performances by the largely-nominated Bedouin Soundclash and Hot Hot Heat. Bring your white belts. (Except any white-belted individuals should know that you must win a ticket or be on the GList to enter.)
And after the party, it's the after-party. Here's what the Edge site has to say to that effect:
102.1 the Edge is going live to air for the Official Casby After-Party, brought to you by Molson Canadian. The party gets started at 10PM, right after the Casby’s are over! The after-party is open to the public and there is no cover charge.
In order to find out who wins this sad spectacle, don't check this site. Indignant!

Hey what's wrong with those two bands - they are pretty good regardless of how bogus the awards and station is, at least the bands are legit.

Bedouin Soundclash are not pretty good. They are no good at all. Click on the link in their name for as much of an explanation as I am willing to give.
I like Hot Hot Heat though...well, a couple of their songs anyway.
Oh, so because a "genius" at eye (whose opinion of a band is based on his/her distaste for people attending university) doesn't like a band, it means the band isn't good? Really...
