The Grey Cup half-time show must have deeply affected the Prime Minister, as he quoted lead singer Fergie yesterday to kick off a re-election campaign. Martin, not known for this level of exhuberance, took the chorus from the Black Eyed Peas “Let’s Get It Started” when he exhuberantly exclaimed, “Let’s Get Start [It] Started” before a wild crowd of Liberals and Liberal-supporters. Martin was present for the controversial half-time performance, which featured booty-bass driven “My Humps,” as well as the hit song “Let’s Get It Started.” Who will be the first MP that will use the term ‘humps’ or ‘lady lumps’? All signs point to Vic Toews.
