Really Real Toronto

Are you ready for the ‘real’ Toronto? According to some immigrant Russian kid from Nyzhny Novgorod (hello, girlfriend, Russia is so hot this season), has filmed a documentary-style DVD called ‘Real Toronto’, showing a slice of gangs, guns, n’ violence in the PJs of Toronto.

TOist hasn’t seen it yet, but these guys have. Overall, the evidence on this DVD just goes to show that Toronto DOES have some edge! We’re a world-class city, goddamnit! *stamps foot*

In other news, the FBI has reported that rapes are up and murders down in the United States in 2004. Oh, so murders were last year? ...Shit. Guess we aren’t even on the ‘cutting edge’ of crime trends. So much for that world-class city thing.
