Torontoist has long been rather nonplussed by this Chinatown shop sign. However, this does not preclude our childlike amusement at random strings of unrelated words, and our abiding love of tigers. What do you want from us? It’s Friday and we’re easily entertained.

    sorry to blow your Friday, but Tiger is merely a brand name. vacuum bottle = thermos. Tiger also makes rice cookers.

    Our Friday isn’t blown, because the mystery is solved! Also, vacuum bottle is still funny. And tigers are still awesome. Not as awesome as penguins, but we’ll take what we can get.

    Tiger makes good rice cookers but not as good as Zojirushi (or as I call it, the elephant brand). Elephants vs. Tigers. Hmmm.
