Anybody Missing a Gavin?

gavin.jpgLooks like Gavin's missing again. Or did he run away? These esoteric signs, obviously meant to reach Gavin, could have a number of meanings. We considered even leaving the phone contact on this post, but decided against it. (We don't know, maybe Gavin is a psychopath? Or maybe he's a singer-songwriter in the band Bush? Better safe than sorry.) There are so many possibilities with this signage, seen in the area around Little Italy, Torontoist and his trusty roommate decided to run through a few scenarios:

1. Gavin met a group of admirers at a local hotspot (Sneaky Dees). He engaged the group with conversations about Mexico and films so much so that they couldn't get him out of their heads for months following the meeting. The group decides to put out a want ad for Gavin, remember what neighbourhood he said he lived in.

2. Gavin ran away home. His roommates put up a little reminder of the 'good times.'

3. Gavin has a new girlfriend - not such a bad thing at first. But then he forsakes all his friends for this new GF, prompting them to resort to this signage.

4. Gavin has amnesia;the only way he'll remember to call home is by remembering these series of words.

5. Gavin put the signs up himself, hoping a fellow lonely soul has the same interests as him (Mexico is an interest, right?) and will phone him.

Good luck to the Gavin hunters and Gavin. If you need the phone number, email us.
