Queen Victoria Takes the Queen Streetcar

train.pngWelcome to our inaugural transit post. Consider this a weekly forum for all things transit, offerred up by He who knows how to make your TTC ride as efficient as possible. Enjoy!

On Thursday, August 25th from 9:30 am to 12 noon, catch Queen Victoria riding the 501 Queen streetcar. revival_queen_victoria.jpg

Canadian mime artist Michael Carl O'Neil will take his act to the rocket as part of the TTC's Summer Concert Series. About the act O'Neil says "My goal, as a professional mime artist, is to bring the audience into the act, where they indeed become the extras and the environment around them, such as a TTC streetcar, becomes the set".

Where exactly to be to see the Queen when she comes through may be tricky. Showing up at the media meet-up spot at Queen St. East and Victoria Street at 9:15 a.m. is your best bet.
If you happen to see the show, take a photo send it along to us.
