Ist List: Best Slice # 5
Burritos, pitas and seafood sausage will all come in and out of favour with the after bar/fast food crowd, but it’s pizzas that will always have a place in the hearts of the trans-fat scenesters. As if we were a Ninja Turtle, Torontoist grabs a slice from the five best pizza restaurants in the city this week for the Ist List: Best Slice.
5. Big Slice (385 Yonge St)
"What’s the Big Slice like?"
"Big!"
"So it’s not just a clever name?"
Yes sir it’s very big. Although there are some concerns about in-store cleanliness, and service, there’s not many cheaper slices for the size. Actually, this would be an interesting study: Is Big Slice the absolute cheapest pizza when examining the pizza surface area by cost per slice by weight? Rumour has it they give out free pizza at the end of the business day, but Torontoist has never seen any evidence of this, as they deliver till 5 in the AM.

1st year at ryerson i was all over the BIG veggie slice topped with fried mushrooms...and i still wonder where the freshman 15 came from?!
There are no trans - fats in pizza unless you put margarine or Kraft peanut butter on it. There is lots of fat, but trans - fats are something different.
brigger: that is infactual.
