Ignatieff Returns

2005_8_26ignatieff.jpgThe Globe and the Star both report that Michael "The Smartest Prime Minister We Could Have" Ignatieff will be leaving the ivy covered walls of Harvard for the uh, slightly less ivy covered walls of the University of Toronto.

Ignatieff, or Iggy as he's known to his close friends, is one of the names being thrown around as a potential future leader of the Liberal Party (next to such names as Bob Rae, Frank MacKenna and John Manley).

A graduate of Trinity College at U of T, Ignatieff will be filling the prestigious Chancellor Jackman chair in Human Rights Policy. He is the author of numerous books including his most recent, "The Lesser Evil" which looks at ethics and human rights in relation to terrorism.
