Art Crawling with Atom

AtomEgoyan.gifWe crawled Queen West alongside Atom Egoyan and the Missus this weekend. In a gallery, they seemed not too interested in Mr. Nobody, and quite a bit interested in a stunning red painting. Only moments later our friend pointed out Sheila Heti and the Mr. And only a bit earlier in the weekend we’d seen our favourite Aunties & Uncles waiter eating at Kalendar. Is that allowed?

    So wait. You were just out crawling Queen West with Atom Egoyan? Is this offer open to everyone? Is there an interview process? Or is this a Crawl With Atom charity program for skinny inner-city artists?
    You can’t just announce to us that you were randomly hanging with Atom and Ms. Atom-and-oh-look-there’s-Sheila without explaining how you got to be there! Or is this just the kind of thing you do when you’re Torontoist?

    i don’t know any of these people, i was just enjoying my leisurely stroll along queen west, and seemed to be keeping pace with a shortish, spectacle-wearing man. Atom would probably stroll queen west with you though, if you are indeed an inner-city artist in need of some artistic edification. he seemed like an affable fellow.
