For the next seven weeks, Nathan Phillips Square will be the definition of F-R-Esh. From July 13 till August 24, every Wednesday becomes Fresh Wednesday at City Hall with the farmers market and live open-air concerts at lunch time. Apples, carrots, green beans, celery, flowers – it’s all there. Not to mention a concert line-up that includes acts like the ChoirGirlz and the Fridge Magnets. The Fridge Magnets! Okay so it’s not that fresh, but at least there’s veggies.
