Ist List: Outdoor Ooh La La # 4

If you've ever felt the urge to bump uglies at one of the city's fine outdoor love venues, the second installment of our Ist List this week should be a good fit.

4. The Front Street Fountain (behind the Gooderham Flatiron building)
It started out with some playful splashing; just frivolous flicking of fountain water when no one was looking. But when the water went down the back of his shirt it made him shiver, and then you got goose bumps as stray droplets rolled across your cleavage. And suddenly you're both really wet and don't even care that your white tee-shirts are invisible. No one in Toronto really pays attention to what happens around fountains, do they?

fountain-flatiron.jpgThe semi-secluded fountain behind Front Street’s flat iron building might have two lanes of traffic on either side, but there are plenty of hedges and foliage to hide your cavorting from passing eyes. The pools can also suit any mood with colourful lighting giving a romantic, psychedelic, or sultry feeling to your evening. Don't worry about the water either: Torontoist thinks there has to be some City-mandated form of chlorine keeping the germs at bay.

One should also know that the Duff sisters frolick in this very fountain in one of their recent music videos. Very important. The Centre of the Universe is also located approximately 20 paces west of the fountain.

HA I was gonna mention the wet Duffs myself.
