Go! Team Go!

We see you, baby.
Dryness wasn’t the dominate look last night, as a sold out Lee’s Palace witnessed the wetness of the sweatiest United Kindom export to date, The GO! Team. Lead singer Ninja, whose rump is so elegantly pictured, shook her jaw-dropping a-zed-zed to an utterly disgusting dance floor for probably the summer’s best show. Really, despite the temperature, could anyone ask for a cooler concert?
Without a North American release, the hip-hop sixtet had nothing to sell but everything to prove. A crowd of drenched hip-igonians, including the lovely Jennifer Hollett, waived their hands from side to side and jumped from up to down for what seemed like 20 minutes (but was really closer to an hour) of amazing live music.
On the down, some sort of NASA space arm was constantly floating over everyone recording footage for some sort of Go! concert video. Too bad, because this was the only aggrivating part of the show, plus the camera spotlights on the overheated onlookers. But hey, at least Toronto has a chance to be in some sort of bonus DVD feature. Go, go, go, go. TEAM!
