Though the City’s freshly-unveiled logo wasn’t made in Toronto, a panel convening tonight intends to talk about moving towards making things in Toronto at ‘Toward a Made in Toronto Solution.’ The all-star guest list includes local and International participants, all of whom will engage in ‘critical debate.’ The event is free and open to the public, but you must register. On a related note, why didn’t we see this Miller quote when it emerged last month:

As a City we must learn to despise mediocrity. We can’t accept what we’ve accepted in the past. ‘Good enough’ is no longer good enough.

Indeed, one panel can’t help us stamp out mediocrity, but perhaps it can stop us from outsourcing it.
