Ist List: Creepiest Subway Washrooms # 4

Yuk. Subway washrooms are creepy. That’s Creepy with a capital ‘C.’ Even with only a select group of TTC washrooms, there’s still a wealth of creepiness out there. Let TOist point you away/toward the creepiest crappers in the subway system.

4. The Bloor-Yonge Washrooms (Southbound platform of Yonge Station)
Creep-o-matic. These washrooms are ostensibly the most used toilets on the entire subway, which probably makes them the raunchiest. The bouquet of odours that drifts from these bathrooms can be detected as far away as first set of stairs to Bloor, and are almost unbearable at the row of telephone booths. But raunchy does not a creepy make. Given the fact there is perhaps more poop and pee in these toilets than any other station, these washrooms would garner the most attention from TTC caretakers. Ergo, there isn’t much human creep factor. There are far too many commuters for anything really creepy to go down here, so the Bloor-Yonge washrooms become number four on our hyphenated list this week.

Try to avoid the washrooms in Eglinton MALL (at Yonge), watch for sexual harassments!!

you’re jumping the gun on eglinton, sib.
aside: wouldn’t it be interesting to see a map of all the places you’ve ever peed? all the truck stops, the alleys, the pairs of pants. it would make an interesting but impossible experiment.

The washrooms at bloor are all boarded up as of yesterday as if they’re being renovated. Does the TTC board read torontoist?
