Cottage Boozers Get Better Hours

LCBO.gifLike an ice cold Tankhouse Ale, extended LCBO hours go down easy without the after taste. Just in time for the liquor-centric celebration known as May two-four, LCBO stores that normally close at 6:00pm will remain open until 9:00pm on Friday nights. The LCB to the O had previously scaled back hours in Toronto, moving from 11pm on the weekends to 10pm at larger locations, and 9pm at the more dinky outlets.

dockrock.jpgThis would be good news all around for all cottage-goers, but there are always those people who can't handle themselves in pressure drinking situations. For them, the LCBO is quick to offer the Good Host Kit and guidelines for drinking responsibly. For the rest of us, there's a new cottage-savvy CD compilation called Dock Rock 4 (at most responsible retail outlets).
