Time to Celebrate - The Season's Finished!

lebron.jpgAfter six long months, the Toronto Raptors season will finally be laid to rest tonight. Following a 4-1 start that seemed so promising, the boys managed just 29 wins over the next 76 games, leading into tonight's final matchup against Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With confused fans wondering 'why in the heck?' Torontoist offers not one, but two reasons to take in tonight's game.

First off, as with any funeral, loved ones come together as their dearly departed are submitted to their final resting place. Numerous autopsies on the Raptors season have yielded a general management failure coupled with a complete shutdown of their halfcourt immune system, therefore allowing foreign aggressors virtually no opposition on their way to the basket. So after a strenuous season for the fans, players, and management, the Raps will finally be able to rest in peace... Well, either peace or disarray.

Secondly, a Cavaliers win and a New Jersey Nets loss to the Boston Celtics means Vince Carter misses the playoffs yet again... GO CAVS/CELTICS!!!
