Dose Rubs It In Your Face

Dose has officially infiltrated the city, with its cute pill-shaped distribution boxes dotting every corner from North York to Parkdale. Some people have complained that the CanWest-backed rag has taken with it all of our young, smart writers.

    i think we all should read dose, travis. the quick hits of news approach is perfect for busy 18-34 year-olds like us. just don’t buy the last kweli or mark ronson albums. they’re crap.

    I don’t think ‘dose’ can really be considered reading. There are probably fewer than 1000 words of text in an entire issue. Fortunately they are split into tiny chunks for the mouth-breathers.

    I picked up a copy on a streetcar – what a load of effen tripe!
    If I’m gonna read a paper in the morning to catch up on the news, I’ll pick up Metro – not this High School paper cum Sun wannabe.
    Paul’s right – probably less than 1000 words in the issue, but it makes for good window cleaner, birdcage liner, firestarter…
