Strike Out!

LCBO.gifFor all the tough guy antics and "make other travel arrangments" speak of the TTC, it turns out our public transit system will make stops tomorrow after all. Toronto's million-and-a-half transit riders can all breathe a collective sigh of relief. And, since no one will be able to take the day off Friday, the city's work-a-holic image also remains fully intact. Now strike-junkies can look forward to the next work stoppage, this time at the LCBO. Their collective bargaining agreement ended today, and LCBO workers voted 91 per cent in favour of strike action. Stock up on the good stuff, as a strike could happen as early as May (though like the TTC, this seems highly unlikely). In other LCBO news, that tasting station at the Summerhill LCBO outlet is just wild!

i can handle walking, but if the LCBO goes on strike i might go crazy.

Ditto, biking in this weather is totally fine. No liquor to have at BBQs, that would totally suck.
