Halo, Everybody

2004_11_9halo.jpgFor Torontoist's second JT reference of the day, we'd like to report that Britney's ex is lovin’ the Halo X-Box game so much that he specially built a Halo-themed theatre in his basement. Julia Roberts, Bill Gates, and metal-dorks Linkin Park are also said to be intense Halo gamers. But if they all are such big fans, where were they for the midnight Halo 2 release party in Toronto? Fans of the game snatched up copies in the very first minutes of it's release, bringing the pre-ordered and first day totals to over 1.5 million copies sold. Without any appearances from Timberlake, Toronto-based animator and Halo creator Nathan Walpole was the highlight at various midnight madness sales on the Nov. 9 celebrations. But there is still hope for a Justin appearance yet; Toronto’s Halo 2 party don't stop till this Thursday.
