The Mod Club is saying goodbye to the Lava Lounge, and moving a few paces south to Kensington Market’s Supermarket. What does this mean in the grand scheme of things? Well, zilch. Torontoist has been pining for a good dance night for an eternity. We checked in on new venue Supermarket during Resfest, and, as not one of the avant-garde digital design hangers-on had jumped the dancefloor, we were able to proceed with a lengthy investigation of its quality. Torontoist is happy to report that the dance floor is of a respectable size and substance. Let the dancing begin, Carnaby kids. But don’t forget to don your finest merc tie.
